Hi everyone! I’m Kristin and I am an SLP working in a rural special-education co-op in Central Texas. I graduated from Texas Woman’s University with an MS in Speech Language Pathology in August of 2015. I worked as an SLP Assistant for 2 years while I was in grad school.
Prior to entering the SLP world, I was a teacher. I taught for 7 years after earning my Master of Arts in Teaching (also from Texas Woman’s University).
I also studied theatre at the University of CA, San Diego where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in 2003.
I am originally from San Diego, CA, but moved to Texas in 2004. I have loved living in Texas and really enjoy the small town lifestyle (except for all the bugs and critters). I live with my husband and daughter in a very small town.
I love sharing ideas and learning from other SLPs. I started this blog to have a way to share my experiences, and hopefully to hear from my readers about their experiences. I also have a store at Teachers Pay Teachers where you can get some of the products I have created for my speech therapy students. Check it out by clicking HERE.
Thank you so much for stopping by. You can also follow me on social media by clicking on the links below.
