Teaching WHEN Questions Free Resource
This resource is designed to help you teach students how to answer WHEN questions. “When?” is a very abstract concept. We can answer a ‘when’ question with a time, season, holiday, time of day (i.e. morning/night), or even with a situation (“When do you drink water? When I’m thirsty”). Teaching students how to answer a WHEN question requires some thoughtful planning of how you will attack and model the question. It’s recommended to start with visuals and teaching about concrete holidays and time of day. Then you can move on in difficulty from there.
