Teaching WHERE Questions Free Resource
This resource is designed to help you teach students how to answer WHERE questions. The question ‘where’ can be a bit more abstract and complicated that a ‘who’ or ‘what’ question. Be sure to note whether your child is having difficulty understanding the question form, or with the vocabulary or concepts they need to answer correctly. Are you asking for a preposition (i.e. in, on, under, etc.), or a particular location (i.e school, hospital, house, playground, etc.). If your child answers with, “right there” when asked “where” that shows understanding of the question, but not the knowledge to answer the question.
